Phillip Phillips To Headline Music=Change

Former American Idol winner and platinum artist Phillip Phillip is returning to his hometown this weekend to lend their support to a local cause headlining benefit concert music = Change.

## The concert is a fundraiser for the nonprofit organization Mission: Change and will be held at 7 pm Friday at the Exchange Club Fairgrounds in Albany, rain or shine.



## In addition to showcasing Phillips headlining, the benefit will feature other artists Blastov, Evergreen Family Band, Meow Ka-Pow, Anne Cline and Anthony Johnson area.

## There will also be a silent auction with signed memorabilia by Phillips and a host of other musical talents including Dave Matthews Band, Matchbox 20, Rob Thomas, Luke Bryan and John Mayer.

Change in the hope of encouraging attendees to participate: ## Amid set of each artist, event organizers also short films documenting the work of the Mission are.

## "Tonight will serve as our only fundraiser for the year and give us the opportunity to share what we are and how people can join us in making our community a better place," said Mission: CEO Change LaDonna Urick. "It is also an opportunity to hear some great bands in the area, and welcome back to my brother, Phillip Phillips, for their first show back home since winning American Idol in 2012"

## Advance tickets for the event are $ 40 and can be purchased through missionchange.com or Mission: Change office at 308 Flint Avenue in Albany. Advance tickets can also be purchased in FireGrill Austin, freight rail and downtown Albany Convention and Visitors Bureau Welcome Center Front Street.

## Tickets can also be purchased at the door for $ 50 All proceeds from ticket sales will go to benefit Mission: Change. Doors open at 6 pm and the show will start at 19:00 attendees are encouraged to bring chairs or blankets. No outside food and coolers are allowed.

## Austin and Glenn Eames Wood FireGrill pizza serve as food vendors and there will be a cash bar. Children are welcome at the event, and children are free.
