Phillip Phillips Says His List Of Tour Demands Includes "Crackers....And A Toilet"

You know how some artists are total divas; make lists of outrageous backstage demands? Well, Phillip Phillips is not one of those artists. The singer, who launched their summer tour Thursday night in St. Louis, says that when he is on the way, he's happy if his rider - the list of demands - including some water and a bathroom.



"I really honestly do not know if you do sometimes rider" Phillip laughs to ABC News Radio. "I put as biscuits, water, cough drops, [something] to heat the water up ... I am very simple, you know and a cleanliness that’s really about It.! A toilet and a sofa ..."

As for what will happen on stage, says Phillip fans who come to see the tour can expect from him and his band to really stretch out musically. "We like to improvise and just get mad cool things in the show," he tells ABC News Radio. "Sometimes it's the top of the head during the show and is sometimes things I've practiced.'s Going to be a good time.'s Going to be fun."

Phillip is promoting his second album Behind the Light, featuring the hit "Raging Fire". As for what will be the next single, Phillip says he does not know, joking: "There are so many amazing songs on this record!" In all seriousness, however, says, "There are so many great songs, we'll get to that when it approaches."

For this summer tour, Phillip has been associated with the OAR band, best known for his hit "Shattered (Turn around)." One dollar from every ticket sold will be donated to Habitat for Humanity to support the objectives of the organization to provide low-income families with safe, decent and affordable housing. Furthermore, Phillip and O.A.R. They are donating 10 tickets on each visit to the city of Habitat for Humanity volunteers, staff and partner families, and creating posts with information about the work the organization does.

According to U.S. Today, Phillip found OAR because they have the same producer, and was working on their albums at the same time. They became friendly, and which led to the joint tour. "I'm excited to get to know them a little through this summer and play for their fans, like mine," she tells U.S. Today.
