Phillip Phillips Touring, Working ON New Album

From season 11 American Idol winner , Phillip Phillips has been touring almost nonstop and is not ready to take your foot off the gas in the short term .Currently touring in support of the world from the side of the moon, their debut album was released on November 19, 2012 , at 23 years old, Phillips believes that hard work is the key to success in business music. 
"It's been a great two years of touring and the last album is something that fills me with pride . Simply constantly work hard . You can take a little break , but you can not take too long," 

 Phillips said in a recent interview telephone from New York , where he was working on his next album. " I'm going to keep working hard because not many people have this kind of opportunity , being able to make a living as a musician. 
" I was very blessed and it has been fun . "Life has been a whirlwind for Phillips after winning American Idol. Home, his coronation song Fox reality show , was released in May 2012 and immediately called a chord with fans . It has been certified quadruple platinum for sales of four million copies . 
Driven by the success of Home , the world of the face of the moon reached number 4 on the Billboard went platinum (one million copies sold) . 
Given the magnitude of American Idol - alumni of the show are Carrie Underwood , Kelly Clarkson, Katharine McPhee, Adam Lambert, Jennifer Hudson and Chris Daughtry - often assumed that success in the program guarantees a successful career.That is definitely not the case - just ask the likes of Ruben Studdard , Fantasia Barrino , Taylor Hicks and Lee DeWyze . As for Phillips , he realized that American Idol has opened a door for him, but it was up to him what he did with that opportunity. 
"American Idol was a great platform , but when it does , it is ," Phillips said. " One has to work much later. 's Not like many people think, everything just handed to you .... I've always had to work for what I wanted, and I continue to do so . For the last two years I have to do a lot of amazing things . " 
Yes , Phillips has done a lot of amazing things since winning Idol. In addition to opening tours for John Mayer and Matchbox 20 , has appeared in the Rock In Rio Festival in Rio de Janeiro , held at the Major League Baseball 2012 All-Star Game and World Series as well as a fundraising concert hurricane Sandy.Despite all these appearances , Phillips says he still gets nervous before hitting the stage. 
" Oh my God , I'm scared to death every time I have to play," Phillips said. "I'm nervous , but once I get a guitar and start a song, after the first few seconds , I can feel it easily. I do not have to worry about the music than anything. " 
Currently putting the finishing touches to their second album - the first single, Raging Fire , was released March 3 - Phillips is working to build on the momentum of the world from the side of the stage . Phillips wrote nine of the album or co - wrote 12 tracks and he is very involved with writing for the new album .While his fans - which has 684,000 followers on Twitters and more than a million people as their Facebook page - wait for the new album, Phillips has a small warning them about the essence of the disc."It's a little heavier , a little darker, not all the songs, but I'm excited about it," Phillips said.
